Welcome to Rosie in a New Light.
This is a place to get curious about who you are and how you experience your life. Here, we begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
This resource explores topics like self-trust, emotional awareness, boundaries, relationships, emotional regulation, and the art of living intentionally.
More than anything, Rosie is about learning how to come back to yourself – to understand what you feel, recognize what you need, and make choices that feel authentic to who you are.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Maybe you’re here because you’re struggling with a relationship. Maybe you’re trying to set a boundary without feeling guilty. Maybe you’re tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, or worrying about what everyone else thinks. Or maybe you simply have a feeling that there’s more to learn about yourself.
Wherever you are, that’s a great place to start.
Below, you’ll find some places to begin based on what you might be experiencing right now. You don’t have to read everything. Just find the question, or situation that sounds a little like you – and go from there.
Think of Rosie as a conversation. Pull up a chair, take a breath, and stay awhile.

About Rosie in a New Light
At some point, many of us learn to look outside of ourselves for answers.
We look for approval, validation, certainty, and direction. We learn to question our instincts, ignore our emotions, or adapt ourselves to fit what we think others need from us.
Over time, it can become easy to lose touch with the person who has been there all along: ourselves.
Rosie in a New Light is about rebuilding the relationship you have with yourself.
Not by becoming someone new.
Not by fixing what is wrong with you.
But by remembering who you are.
The foundation of Rosie is simple: the answers we are searching for are often not outside of us. They are found through awareness, curiosity, and the willingness to reconnect with ourselves.
When we learn to understand our emotions, trust our own judgment, create healthy boundaries, and make intentional choices, we begin to build something incredibly important:
A relationship with ourselves that feels safe, authentic, and empowering.
This is where self-trust begins.
The Journey Back to Yourself
Many of the challenges we experience – overreacting, people-pleasing, self-doubt, feeling disconnected, or struggling to make decisions – are often signs that we have lost connection with our own inner voice.
The goal is not to become a different person.
The goal is to become more connected to the person you already are.
Through emotional awareness, regulation, boundaries, and intentional living, Rosie explores how we can:
- understand ourselves with more compassion
- respond instead of react
- trust our own intuition and judgment
- make choices aligned with who we are
- create relationships that honor both ourselves and others
What Rosie Believes
Your emotions are information.
Your awareness creates choice.
Your relationship with yourself shapes every other relationship in your life.
You are allowed to pause, reflect, and listen inward.
You are allowed to choose differently.
You are allowed to trust yourself.
The journey is not about perfection. It is about returning to yourself again and again.
Welcome to Rosie in a New Light
This space is for anyone who is rebuilding self-trust, learning to understand themselves more deeply, and creating a life that feels intentional rather than automatic.
Through reflections, resources, journals, and conversations, Rosie is here to help you slow down, check in with yourself, and reconnect with what has always been there.
You do not need to become someone else.
You may simply need to remember who you are.
And as always, thanks for being here.
-Susie, from Rosie in a New Light
